With one of the best beaches in the region and lovely panoramic views of the northern Haitian coastline, Amiga is surrounded by coral formations and reefs just a few yards away from the beach. Located several miles inland, atop the 3,000 ft (910m) Bonnet a L’Eveque Mountain in the town of Milot, Citadelle Laferriere is a historical adventure with an astounding view. Known to locals as the “8th Wonder of The World” and designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1982, the Citadelle is Haiti’s symbol of liberty and the largest and most impressive fortress in the Americas. Created by and for war, Henri Christophe, one of the leaders of Haiti’s slave revolution, along with more than 20,000 workers, built this massive stone structure to protect the newly independent state from a French ambush that never came. This impressive fortress has survived until this day, almost unchanged.

Cadras, also known as Paradise Bay, falls nothing short of its name. Enjoy a private, beautiful and luxurious beachside patio with steps leading into the tranquil sea. Take in the steep slopes of the surrounding mountains as they ascend from the crystal clear waters while sipping on a refreshing cocktail or a cold Prestige, our award winning local beer!
